If Australia is to have cheap, reliable, and clean energy, which will ultimately reduce the cost of electricity and help power our industries, we must seriously consider adding nuclear to Australia’s energy plan.
I believe that nuclear is Australia’s energy future. Nowadays, it’s safe, reliable, and environmentally friendly – unlike renewables, which aren’t even clean, because every tonne of mined lithium spits out about 15 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
Of the world’s top 20 largest economies, Australia is the only one without nuclear energy. As a nation, we should be completely ashamed – and we should be especially ashamed of our Prime Minister, who absurdly thinks nuclear is some kind of “radioactive sledgehammer” that will destroy our country. Luckily, though, we know Anthony Albanese MP gets a lot wrong.
I want all Australians to have access to reliable and affordable power, while reducing the environmental impact.
Now’s your chance to have a say on nuclear energy.
