Health of 15,000 diabetics in jeopardy as PBS drug pulled

“Ultra-fast insulin drug Fiasp to be removed from PBS making it unaffordable for many diabetes sufferers…. For the past six months, 14-year-old Freya Goldston has attended more school, swimming training and increased her time with friends — but that quality of life is now at risk….. Fiasp, the ultra-fast insulin she relies on to treat her type 1 diabetes will be taken off the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) next month, sending the price soaring.”

How callous is this? After wasting billions on vaccines that weren’t fit for purpose, the Health Minister wants to pull funding for a drug that did relieve chronic pain.

Clearly the drug wasn’t made by Pfizer.
