Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Finance Minister Katy Gallagher have announced a budget deficit of $26.9 billion amid a surge in spending by the Albanese government.

The Albanese Government is now engaging in outright corruption.

This is a speech I gave calling out the Victorian government for closing down Mt Arapiles, a world famous rockclimbing destination in the name of cultural heritage.

Big fortnight coming up.
Back in Canberra for the final two weeks of sitting this year.

This week in estimates I exposed the bureaucracy on their lack of quality assurance and integrity in a number of areas.

“Do you think if Scott Morrison went to the Australian public and asked the people for $300 billion dollars with “no security”, to pay other people to stay at home and get brain washed by the premiers about Covid the people would have lent him the money?

“We live in a world where there was free flowing capital, that ultimately was a benefit for us. It allows good investment opportunities in Australia to be financed. It allows capital to flow to the most productive uses.”

“There is actually a shortage of people to work in construction and more broadly across the economy and the difficulty of attracting people into that area.”

The Gravy Train must end.
“The Government’s $22.7 billion Future Made in Australia package will help facilitate the private sector investment required for Australia to be an indispensable part of the global economy.

The Labor Government needs to get their priorities straight and lower immigration now. Too many people are being forced out of their homes due to high immigration.

As usual, politicians aren’t interested in fixing up our dysfunctional federation or highways.

If renewables are cheaper why do the two major parties continue to subsidize them?
“And it’s why under this government the number of EV charging stations has increased to 900…………all of these investments are made with the expectation of a positive risk based return.”
I rise tonight to speak about the key policies introduced by People First party, albeit it’s one person. I think it’s very important to note that it is a party that actually has some key policies that seek to empower hardworking Australians, the individual, and their families.

Yesterday I called for the 80/20 funding of Federal Highways to be abolished in favour of full funding by the Federal Government.

Another pointless department wasting your money.
“Senator RENNICK: With regard to the whole housing fund et cetera, you are planning to build 6,000 houses per year over the next five years, so 30,000 houses.

In estimates Murray Watt accused the Coalition of pork barrelling when the APVMA was moved to Armidale. Given the APVMA serves regional Australia why shouldn’t it be in regional Australia?

$500 million allocated to high speed rail, and the Infrastructure Department can’t really explain how the money spent is actually value for money.

In recent decades has been a lot of arguing over the rate of emissions but I have seen very few people actually question the quality of the measurements.

What has Aboriginal culture got to do with building railway lines?
Why does the government have to waste taxpayer money on appeasing activists every time they do something.
