I would like to thank the LNP and the grassroot members for the opportunity they have given me to represent the people of Queensland as part of our Senate Team. I will continue to represent the LNP in the Senate for the next two years.
While I am disappointed I did not receive the Party’s re-endorsement in this preselection, I remain committed to fighting for Queensland constituents and those who have sought my assistance over the years.
Additionally, I will persist in holding the Labor Government and the bureaucracy accountable and will work to reduce their overreach into our lives.
I extend my gratitude to my Federal Colleagues for their support and in particular their endorsements, especially Peter Dutton.
I look forward to working with the Liberal National Federal team to regain government in 2025.
Politics should always be about putting the people and our values first and I will continue to do that for the next two years.
