TGA: For adverse events following immunisation we do not routinely contact reporters or health professionals on adverse event outcomes.
Senator: Why wouldn’t you follow up on reports of injury if you wanted to conduct surveillance of the safety of the vaccine?
TGA: As you well know the TGA has received well over 140,000 adverse event reports for the vaccine, so it would not be practical to follow up on every individual report.

So there’s too many injuries to follow up on but we will just continue to advocate the safety of the vaccine. Gotcha.
If it’s not practical to follow up on every report then don’t roll out a vaccine with new technology to the entire population that hasn’t been adequately tested.
How is the TGA meant to gauge the safety of the vaccine if it isn’t speaking to the victims about their injuries?
Isn’t practical translates as not doing adequate testing and not caring about the people injured or killed.

Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Bill 2024
Senator RENNICK: I have an email here that was sent by the TGA to a vaccine-injured person who was trying to get in touch with the TGA to get more feedback on their report. The email says: ‘For adverse events following immunisation, we do not routinely contact reporters or the health professionals to follow up on adverse event outcomes.’ Why wouldn’t you follow up on reports of injury if you wanted to continue to conduct surveillance on the safety of the vaccine?
Dr Larter: I don’t have that document in front of me but I am aware that we have provided very similar information in previous questions on notice. As you well know, the TGA has received over 14,000 adverse events reports for COVID-19 vaccines, so it would not be practical for us to follow up every individual report. We have very close relationships with state and territory health departments to follow up serious adverse event reports where it is required and where we need information to assess an individual case.
