FEATURED NEWS

This shocking behaviour in Parliament House must be held to account

The Liberal wets are corrupt and perverted.

“During the time in which xxxxx was working in the office of xxxxx the Informant and xxxxxx had engaged in sexual intercourse in the APH Prayer Room.

Xxxxx had staffers assist in the procurement of male escorts or sex workers that were arranged to attend APH for the purpose of engaging in sexual intercourse and/or interactions.”

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

These are some of the incidents that occurred under the prior Liberal government between 2013 and 2019. See my post on Facebook for the slides in the comments.

A former minister was mentioned.

Questions need to be asked as why this was covered up and people weren’t held to account.

Also why was the media silent on this. This report was given to me by a journalist because the media wouldn’t touch it.

It goes without saying that it was the wet faction of the Liberal party involved in this scandal.

They were the same faction that stitched up my preselection by cheating.

Needless to say they are a protected species by the media as they undermine the conservatives in the Liberal Party.

Had a conservative engaged in this type of behaviour it would have been front page news.

It’s about time the Liberal wets were held to account for their perverted and corrupt behaviour.

FINANCE PORTFOLIO
Department of Finance

Senator RENNICK: Hi, guys. I’m just following up on the question from earlier this morning. I asked about the report that was prepared by the finance department—I’m not sure if you were here—on the Department of Finance’s independent investigation into alleged inappropriate workplace behaviours as reported by an informant on Channel 10. It touched on staffers engaging in sexual intercourse or interactions in the APH prayer room and ministers having staffers assist in the procurement of male escorts or sex workers that were arranged to attend Australian Parliament House for the purpose of engaging in sexual intercourse or interactions. There’s been a lot of discussion about parliamentary behaviour today. My question is: how do we go about getting this looked into further and holding these people to account?

Ms Wilkinson : First of all, Finance’s responsibilities in relation to members of parliament and their staff is under outcome 3. I had my staff here last night to deal with questions on outcome 3. But I think that there’s been a machinery-of-government change, and responsibility for parliamentary behaviour has moved from the Department of Finance to the Parliamentary Workplace Support Service. They are responsible for managing conduct. They take concerns about bullying and about behaviour and manage that. The PWSS—again, I hate to say this—appeared last night as well. So we don’t have responsibility for that work anymore. It now sits with the Parliamentary Workplace Support Service.

Senator RENNICK: Is this sort of behaviour egregious to the extent that it’s criminal behaviour, do you think?

Ms Wilkinson : I can’t comment on that.

Senator Gallagher: From memory, I think a lot of the issues you raised did form part of the work that was done by Kate Jenkins in Set the standard. Part of the response to that has been all the efforts to clean up this workplace and make it a better place for people to work and for them to understand their responsibilities and also to have a place where people can make complaints and have them investigated. So it was sort of directly in response to some of those and other issues.

Senator RENNICK: Right. Okay. Thank you.
