Climate change madness isn’t just killing the environment and your wallet.

Climate change madness isn’t just killing the environment and your wallet.

The banks are now just lying to justify their gouging . Its disgraceful.
They earn very high margins on low interest deposit accounts that would have 10’s of billions of dollars in them, making millions on relending at 6%.

I recently spoke about the need to train our own children with the right skills so we can stand on our own two feet as a Sovereign country. High immigration creates more problems than it solves.

Regardless of who the new Premier, our country desperately needs governments to focus on the things that matter such as the cost of living, better healthcare, education and infrastructure.

Labor and the Greens recently passed a bill that bought back another 450 Gigalitres out of the Murray Darling Basin.

Good at crazy talk but hopeless when it comes to running a government.

I recently spoke against a Greens bill to expand the water trigger powers of the Federal government.

In estimates I asked the Agricultural Minister to take a stand for the Agricultural sector and lobby his former boss to keep bank branches open in the regions. Murray Watt was a former Chief of Staff to Anna Bligh and State MP when she privatised much of Queensland’s Infrastructure.

Just prior to my maiden speech, during the winter break I undertook a two-week regional and rural listening tour of my home state, because on this side of the chamber we take the concerns of the people living in regional Queensland seriously. I had the opportunity to meet with community groups and not-for-profits such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service, mayors and councillors from our state regional councils and of course lots of farmers and small business people.

Mr President, I would like to acknowledge my colleagues in the chamber and special guests in the gallery who are here today. I would also like to thank the people of Queensland and the LNP for the faith they have placed in me to represent them over the next six years.

Rural & Regional Affairs & Transport Committee on 23 March 2021. Senator RENNICK: My questions are regarding the Eastern Australia Agriculture buyback, Mr Metcalfe. I want to quote a part of the actual valuation by Colliers. They summarise in one

This Inquiry has identified there are real questions about the extent of the impact on-farm run-off is having on the GBR & there is a greater need to test the empirical science, which is why we’ve heeded the calls of stakeholders in recommending an Office of Scientific Review.
