Ahpra administers the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme in partnership with the National Boards. National Boards develop standards, codes of conduct and guidelines that all registered health practitioners must meet. The Medical Board of Australia is responsible for the regulation of all registered medical practitioners in Australia. The Board’s registration standards, codes and guidelines apply to all registered medical practitioners regardless of their employment setting.
