The Australian Government provided supplies of remdesivir (VEKLURY®) to state and territory health departments from the National Medical Stockpile, for provision to patients by state and territory public hospitals and under each jurisdictions COVID-19 care arrangements. Each state and territory manages its data on the utilisation rate of COVID-19 treatments, and may hold data on people who have died from COVID-19 received treatment with remdesivir. The Department of Health and Aged Care does not hold this data.
