Reproductive toxicity studies in rats vaccinated with high doses of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine before mating and during gestation showed no adverse effects in dams or pups. Recent reports have shown that breastfeeding people who have received mRNA COVID-19 vaccines have antibodies in their breastmilk, which could help protect their babies, available at: www.ajog.org/article/S0002-9378(21)00211-8/fulltext and www.jamanetwork.com/journals/jamapediatrics/fullarticle/2786219. There has been no evidence to suggest that COVID-19 vaccines are harmful to either people who have received a vaccine and are breastfeeding or to their babies, available at: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK565969 and www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fimmu.2022.852928/full.
